Zithromax (Azithromycin) is used to treat many different types of bacterial infections, such otitis media (infection of the middle ear), tonsillitis, laryngitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, sinusitis, skin infections, sexually transmitted diseases. In children, it is often prescribed to treat middle ear infection, pneumonia, tonsillitis, and strep throat.

How to take

• Take Zithromax capsules at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal.
• Zithromax tablets and oral suspension can be taken without regard to food.
