Fluoxetine is an antidepressant in a group of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). Fluoxetine is used to treat major depressive disorder, bulimia nervosa (an eating disorder) obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD).

How to take

• Do NOT use Fluoxetine if you are taking or have taken a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or St. John's wort within the last 14 days.
